About Us
The Unusual Suspects is a four-piece blues/folk/R&B band based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, England.
Our music comprises original material combined with a range of classic covers from artists as diverse as Bob Dylan, JJ Cale and Thin Lizzy.
Performing mainly in the Newark area, our mostly laid-back sound has wide appeal; from the melodic tones of Knocking on Heaven's Door and Magnolia to the toe-tapping beats of Down to the Doctor's and Dancing in the Moonlight.
Featuring Bob Haynes on Guitar and lead vocals, Ian "Lobba" Dobbs on bass and backing vocals, Darren "Daz" Riley on saxophone and Paul Walker on drums; theirs is a set not to be missed.
